Wonderful location in the shopping area, so close to both shopping area, restaurants and ski hill, all the main restaurants, the harbor, main street and culture palace Hof, and the shops. Neat rooms on the upper floors. Easy check-in, parking opposite to the hotel. A pretty standard venue, my first choice in Akureyri.
Beds were not comfortable.

Central location near bus station. And close to good restaurants and beautiful things to see and the centre of town. Attentive staff, great-sizedroom with a piping hot, a lovely view plus tea/coffee. Varied breakfast to start the day with cheeses, porridge plus meats.

During our Christmas stay, we loved the fact that our room had plenty of natural light with windows on two sides. The etchings on the windows and curtains provided privacy, even though our room was at street level. Additionally, the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was key, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the harbor. Plus, the breakfast buffet offered a good selection, including fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and salamis.
One downside was the thinness of the windows and walls, which allowed noise from the road to disturb our sleep. We were awakened multiple times throughout the night by passing cars.

Good location very near the central shopping and restaurant district of Akureyri
Guests should be informed that there is no elevator in this three story hotel and the limited staff does not volunteer to carry luggage up and down. This is not an acceptable hotel for handicapped guests and this fact should be flagged on Booked.net

Location
My initial room had mould on the shower head and so I was moved into another room which smelt of damp carpet I informed the staff of the smell but nobody did anything about it and I had to sleep with the window open the whole time I was there. I would not recommend anyone stays there and felt the cost of the room a total ripoff. The breakfast buffet had a very poor selection.

The hotel is conveniently located near the center of town, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the university. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of options to start your day. Some rooms even have tea and coffee facilities, providing a lovely treat.
One downside is that there is no elevator in the hotel, which may be inconvenient for those with mobility issues.

The hotel provided excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail that made my stay feel very special. The location of the hotel was perfect, being just a stone's throw away from the town center, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. The staff at the hotel were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant stay. The basic amenities provided were more than satisfactory, and the rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, equipped with modern TV and some devices that made my stay even more enjoyable. The variety and quality of the breakfast provided in the morning were impressive, with plenty of options to choose from. I was very impressed with the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful and memorable stay in this wonderful Icelandic town.
